Widebay Technology

Widebay Technology was established in 2006 by Richard Neville. Richard has always had a passion for PCs and Apple Macs, but it was after returning from a 7 month stint in New Zealand that he knew he wanted to open his own business.

Whilst in New Zealand, Richard was called on to work as a technician at the local Apple Centre. As the new Apple Macs used Intel CPU’s , they were able to run Microsoft Windows via the Boot-camp system. The staff at the Apple Centre were not familiar with Windows and the new bombardment for Windows help requests in the Mac environment called for someone with knowledge and experience in both. Richard fit that bill perfectly.

Upon returning to Australia, Richard immediately took steps to set up his own Computer repair business. He saw a big need in the community for a local Apple warranty repairer and worked hard to obtain certification as an Authorised Apple Technician. With over 15 years experience under his belt in computer repairs, upgrades and general servicing, he knew it was the right step.

Since then Widebay Technology has gone from strength to strength. 2009 will be a big year for the business. Richard will be moving into a bigger premises meaning he will soon be carrying a lot more stock.

All customers are welcome whether they use a PC or a Mac. You will always get friendly service and prompt repairs at Widebay Technology.
